At the ripe old age of 35 I have finally purchased my first classic trench coat. What took me so long?? Now that I’m thinking about it I did have a trench coat in my 20’s, but it was bright yellow and obnoxious, and probably super cheap. I remember wearing it to a costume party when I dressed up as the Morton’s Salt Girl and have no clue what happened to it after that…oh well!
This trench is from ASOS, and while it didn’t break the bank at only $80, it is well made and I think it could last a few seasons. They also carry the same design in tall and petite, which is pretty sweet. Having this coat makes getting dressed so much more fun! It instantly makes anything I wear feel more put together and is the perfect light layer for spring.
