Best Sandals Summer ’19

What’s the best thing about summer? Longer days? No school? Trips to the beach? NO, NO, NO! The answer is clearly sandals! I mean, all throughout winter my toes are just dying to break free (after a very thorough pedicure thank you very much). This season’s sandal trends have me in a permanent state of heart eye emoji, and I don’t want it to end.

I picked up the two pairs above most recently and feel that they are the perfect addition to my summer wardrobe. First, both pair have a sensible heel height. Gone are the days when I would strut my stuff in 4+ inch stilettos. It’s possible to be comfortable and cute, so now I don’t go above a 3 inch heel. Both are also neutral enough to be paired with lots of different looks. The styling options are endless…so prepare yourselves! They are also dupes of some of my favorite designer styles that I can’t (yet) afford.

Let’s take a look at the sandals I’m currently lusting after, shall we?

Square toe sandals are the newest trend for summer and I’m so here for it. I love the simplicity and the fact that they are patent leather. The price tag puts them squarely out of my budget, but a girl can dream…and look for a good dupe!

I absolutely adore this take on a leather thong sandal. The flip-flop is all grown up…and sexy! Again, my expensive tastes do not yet work with my budget, but luckily Mango has their own affordable version you can check out here.

I couldn’t talk about the sandals of Summer ’19 without mentioning these beauties. They are delicious…square toe, workable heel, interesting, and basically all of the good things. If you don’t have and extra $720 to spend, Zara’s got you covered! Their Strappy Mid-Heel Sandals are my favorite purchase of the summer.
